‘The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore’ is the singer's new version of ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ which includes four previously unreleased tracks, 'Patient Zero', 'Pink Clouding', 'Babylon' and 'Cleveland!'.

One of the new songs from the album titled 'Patient Zero' comes with a trailer-style music video directed by Swift starring Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell. A trailer teasing the video, Swift appears with Johnson and Farrell in the bathroom, graveyard, pool, and in what appears to be a hostile encounter with the pair.

Swift explained that more songs arrived after she went to Sweden with Max Martin and Shellback to rejoice the album's historic first week.

Taylor continued, “but there was a studio there and we did what we do when we feel anything at all: We wrote more songs. I hope you love them, because they were born out of pure gratitude for your exuberance for and celebration of the album we made," Taylor said on Instagram.

The cinematography of the music video 'Patient Zero' is by the three-time Oscar-winning Emmanuel Lubezki. He is known for using natural lighting in his work along with continuous uninterrupted shots in cinematography, which is evident from the trailer.

The complete music video will debut globally at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards on September 27, coinciding with the release of the new track on September 25.
