The BBC is bringing back its record-breaking reality series The Celebrity Traitors for a second round, and this time the celebrity lineup is bigger than ever. Hosted once again by Claudia Winkleman, filming begins at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands this summer. Filming for season 2 kicked off in early May 2026, with the BBC confirming an Autumn 2026 premiere on BBC One and iPlayer. No specific date has been announced yet, and the BBC has stayed quiet on a trailer or episode count as well. But with a cast this diverse, spanning actors, comedians, musicians, journalists, and athletes, the wait is already feeling very long.

While the full cast covers every corner of British entertainment, a handful of names are already drawing the most attention heading into the Highlands.

A few names on The Celebrity Traitors' list need no introduction. Bella Ramsey rose to global fame playing Ellie in HBO's The Last of Us and brings serious dramatic credibility to the castle. Grant, Oscar-nominated for Can You Ever Forgive Me, is a beloved screen presence whose wit and charm will make him one to watch.

With a cast this recognizable and a format proven to pull record audiences, season two of The Celebrity Traitors is already one of the most anticipated reality returns of the year. Season one ran from 8 October to 6 November 2025, airing mostly on Wednesdays and Thursdays before its record-breaking finale. If season two follows the same episodic pattern, an October 2026 debut seems likely, but until an official date drops, all we have is this impossibly shiny cast to look forward to.
