The Clown Prince of Crime Giving Birth Might Be the Wildest Joker Plotline Ever

It is only DC Comics that could turn the Joker into a mother and a blessing into a curse, of birth, that is. In fact, Gotham's most twisted villain has canonical evidence of the event.

January 2023 has seen the continuation of the Joker's twisted reality and new identity unfolding. The last few pages, however, had been illustrated with a sight not many would have had cross their minds.

The backup story, coupled with The Joker: The Man Who Stopped Laughing's 4th issue, revealed the villain's unexpected pregnancy. As the story had turned out, the Joker's flirting with Zatanna Zatara backfired when the sorcerer cast a reverse spell on him.

She met the Joker's quips about starting a family together with a curse for him to never have children with anyone. Instead, the villain faced immediate consequences and had a baby without a partner.

As unbelievable as it had seemed, the event was a canon occurrence, and so was the Joker's baby.

Does the Joker actually give birth?

Despite being illustrated in the DC reality, the Joker's pregnancy tryst had been an attempt at dark humor. The Joker had, in fact, ended up vomiting a miniature Joker, instead of actually giving birth.

This side plot, however, has no effect on or relation to the actual plot of the comics. Regardless, the reaction to the event was just as celebrated as any real pregnancy news.

What do you think of the Joker's odd pregnancy plot twist? Let us know in the comments below!
