Adding to Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope (1977), George Lucas went on to shape the iconic original trilogy with The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi (1983), before later expanding the universe through the prequel trilogy with The Phantom Menace (1999), Attack of the Clones (2002), and Revenge of the Sith (2005). Beyond filmmaking, Lucas is also set to expand his creative legacy with the $1 billion Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, scheduled to open in Los Angeles on September 22, 2026. The massive space will feature 35 galleries across nearly 300,000 square feet, showcasing works from legendary artists including Norman Rockwell and Frida Kahlo, further celebrating the power of visual storytelling.
