London's star-studded Wembley Stadium has seen its fair share of iconic instances ever since 2007. Now, Prince William has royally rearranged the ranking of these moments, one that particulalrly stars none other than the just married Travis Kelce. As a heads up, however, it does not seem to be when Kelce scored a touchdown against the Detroit Lions during the 2015 NFL International Series at historic location.

When asked to choose his favorite moment starring Travis Kelce during a surprise appearance on the New Heights podcast on July 3, Prince William named Kelce’s surprise appearance as a backup dancer during Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour as his most iconic moment at Wembley Stadium. Out of the options laid out to him, the Prince immediately chose one, over Kelce's touchdown against the Lions.

“Travis as a backup dancer,” Prince William said, referring to Kelce's onstage appearance.

Kelce also agreed with the choice, stating that the on-stage performance is among the most proud moments of his life. In addition, Kelce recalled meeting William and his kids backstage at the Eras Tour, calling it among the coolest moments of his life. According to him, he and his brother were quite nervous before meeting the Prince and the entire royal family, since they wanted to know how to conduct themselves properly according to the etiquette rules.

Their memorable podcast came a few hours before another milestone changed Kelce's life forever.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reportedly got married on July 3, 2026, in a star-studded wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York City after nearly three years together. The couple chose the iconic arena as the venue after months of speculation for their Fourth of July weekend celebration. Family, close friends, fellow NFL stars, and a host of high-profile celebrities all turned out to celebrate the couple’s long-awaited union.

The privacy measures were reportedly strict, with guests signing non-disclosure agreements and handing over their phones before entering. Adam Sandler officiated the wedding with Austin Swift and Jason Kelce serving as Man of Honor and Best Man, respectively, as per the singer's representative. Swift and Kelce's exchanged handwritten vows before celebrating with celebrity guests, a Stevie Nicks performance, and a reported $26 million charitable donation.

Meanwhile, Prince William’s comments highlighted that Travis Kelce’s most memorable Wembley moment was not from football but from sharing the stage with Swift. And there has been another major milestone for the couple since that memorable Eras Tour appearance: their high-profile wedding in New York City. The two moments together show how Kelce’s life off the NFL field has become as celebrated as his life on the field.
