Christopher Nolan will reunite with Timothée Chalamet for a special IMAX 70mm screening of Interstellar at the American Cinematheque in Los Angeles on February 9, 2026.
The event will include an exclusive conversation with Chalamet, who played young Tom, offering fans an intimate glimpse into the making of the sci-fi epic and its enduring emotional impact.
Tickets for the members-only event went on sale February 4 at 12:00 PM PT via the American Cinematheque website for $30. The screening will take place at Universal Cinema AMC at CityWalk Hollywood, Auditorium 19.
A pre-show Q&A with Nolan and Chalamet will give attendees rare insight into the film’s legacy and behind-the-scenes stories from its production.

Christopher Nolan is preparing The Odyssey, a mythic action epic scheduled for July 17, 2026. Starring Matt Damon as Odysseus, Tom Holland as Telemachus, Anne Hathaway as Penelope, and Zendaya as Athena, the film also features Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Charlize Theron, and Benny Safdie. Shot on IMAX 70mm, it chronicles Odysseus’ perilous 10-year journey home after the Trojan War.
Meanwhile, Timothée Chalamet is riding high with two major projects in 2026: Marty Supreme (January 2026), now one of the season’s biggest hits, in which he stars and produces as ping pong prodigy Marty Mauser, and Dune: Part Three (December 18, 2026), concluding Denis Villeneuve’s trilogy. Following Paul Atreides’ reign as Emperor, it continues 12 years after Dune: Part Two, promising a climactic finale to Chalamet’s iconic sci-fi saga.
