Following the release of 'Breach: Digital Remains', Twenty One Pilots have now released the most anticipated track for fans, which the latter did not expect the duo to do.

Twenty One Pilots dropped a streaming version of their viral limited track 'Drag Path' on February 17, 2026, which had already received a limited release along with their album. To add the cherry on top, the song was also adorned with an animated video this time around.

After their limited edition which was released along with their album went viral on social media, it created a trend and amassed more than 1.5B views across over 75K creates, according to a press release.  The duo wanted to make a shorter version of the original soundtrack for streaming release.

Tyler Joseph also pointed out that the streaming version will not have bits and pieces from the original soundtrack 'Drag Path' which was an exclusive bonus track on 'Breach: Digital Remains'.

With an album and a surprise song making rounds, the odds that Twenty One Pilots may be ready to fly their plane across various other projects are not too thin.

What the future holds for Twenty One Pilots

In an Instagram video, Tyler Joseph mentioned, “We are at rehearsal space now, working on playing maybe, playing the song live this year.”

With Twenty One Pilots already lined up for several shows, Tyler Joseph's confession is only amping up the ante. The duo is further booked for festivals across North America and Europe. Some of them are: the Innings Festival 2026 Lineup & Tickets in Tempe, Arizona (Feb. 20–22) alongside acts like Blink-182 and Cage The Elephant; and then head across Europe for huge summer events including Pinkpop Festival 2026 in the Netherlands, Mad Cool Festival 2026 in Spain, All Points East Festival 2026 in London, and many more.

Apart from the live performances that are already set in place, Twenty One Pilots are also enroute to releasing their concert film, Twenty One Pilots: More Than We Ever Imagined, on February 26, 2026. It is the duo’s sold-out show from The Clancy World Tour with 65,000 fans in the Mexico City stadium and one of their biggest in their music career.

Amidst surprising fans with limited releases and performing live, Twenty One Pilots are ensuring the only turbulence they face is success and admiration.
