A fan went as far as to jump on statistics highlighting men's dominance in tough blue-collar jobs, medicine, law, and pro-sports to counter the "useless, stupid, slow" label from Carpenter's crowd moment. They argued these fields prove capability, flipping the script on her playful dig during 'Manchild.'

Some men embraced irony, admitting they belt it out at exes from failed flings, owning the roast. Others tagged the performance as “performative misandry,” since they believe Carpenter dates men anyway. Some even took a swipe at Carpenter’s music as a whole, calling it “garbage music” and saying that “literally no one cares about” the pop star.
