Walker Scobell's excitement for The Batman 2 has reached a fever pitch. For Robert Pattinson himself, the actor seems to have gone mum.

When asked to do an impression of Batman at Josh Horowitz's live event, Walker Scobell picked Robert Pattinson to oblige. He picked Brendan Sklenar to be DCU's next Batman, however.

Scobell had moved the mic away from his mouth, appearing to be lisping, "I am Batman." Right after mimicking Pattinson's much-discussed take on Bruce Wayne's gruff voice, he cleared the air as well.

"That wasn't a hit on that at all," he said at Josh Horowitz's live event. The Percy Jackson & the Olympians actor proceeded to exclaim his excitement for The Batman 2, as if to support his defence.

Scobell's Brendon Sklenar pick, however, comes without any on-screen witnessing.

Brendan Sklenar as DCU's next Batman

Walker Scobell revealed he would like to see Brandon Sklenar play the DCU's revamped Batman. The consideration comes from several dots that have been connected online for Sklenar's case.

While it does not affirm Sklenar's casting, James Gunn has appreciated the actor's work in 1923 on the Peacemaker's after-show podcast. Sklenar, 35, is also noted to have both the age and physique for Batman as well.

While Batman's future on screen continues to hop between Matt Reeves and James Gunn, Walker Scobell has named his pick. To mime, it is Robert Pattinson, and for DCU, it is Brandon Sklenar.
