Fans of iconic TV homes often wonder what happens when real estate collides with pop culture. A popular streamer has teased a major reveal involving Breaking Bad’s legendary New Mexico house, hinting at ambitious plans that could blur the line between television history and real-world fandom.

Walter White’s Albuquerque home has a new celebrity owner: Adin Ross.

“I bought the old Breaking Bad house. There was a bid on it, I outbid a few other people, but I got it. I won the bid,” Ross said during a Kick livestream.

He added that his dad was extremely hyped about the purchase, turning the win into a family celebration.

During the same Kick stream, Ross promised fans he plans to restore the house to look exactly like it did on Breaking Bad. He said he would not damage or exploit the property, calling it a monument.

Ross explained he wants the home preserved, carefully maintained, and used respectfully rather than turned into a chaotic content house.

While the future sounds carefully curated, the house’s past tells a very different story, shaped by patience and pizza.

Breaking Bad home was a private family residence long before TV fame

Before Adin Ross, the house was owned for more than five decades by the Padilla and Quintana families. Frances and Louis Padilla purchased the Albuquerque home in 1973, long before it became a television landmark.

Their daughter, Joanne Quintana, later managed the property and became its public face as global fame transformed their quiet residence.

After years of fan disruptions, the family listed the house in 2025 for nearly $4 million, hoping for a museum-style buyer. The price eventually dropped to $400,000 in February 2026.

Now, with the sale underway, Adin Ross claims ownership, marking a dramatic shift from family home to celebrity-controlled Breaking Bad landmark.
