In several visuals, Zendaya and Holland appeared laughing, dancing, and mingling with supposed wedding guests such as Robert Downey Jr., Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Jake Gyllenhaal. One widely shared image showed the couple dancing together while guests applauded, reinforcing the illusion of an authentic reception.

Zendaya floated through the images in an ethereal white gown and veil, while Holland played the role of polished groom in a pristine suit. The craftsmanship was so precise that disbelief required effort rather than instinct. Faced with this surplus of Spider-Men in formalwear, some observers reasonably concluded that this was less a wedding and more a multiverse reunion with cake.

One of the reasons why the images worked was not that they were convincing, but that the internet was primed to believe them.

Why people firmly believe that Zendaya and Tom Holland are now married

Much of the belief comes from stylist Law Roach, being the one who started the hubbub while speaking to Access Hollywood. Roach's words are easy to believe, as he is not a distant observer but one of the closest figures in Zendaya and Tom Holland’s private circle.

Roach has worked with Zendaya for over 15 years, having styled the actress since she was 14 years old, beginning during her early Disney career and shaping nearly every major public appearance that followed. In fact, when he announced a step back from celebrity styling, he made a point of continuing his work with Zendaya exclusively. Making his words, in light of their close connection, very believable.

Even Zendaya's mother, Claire Stoermer, reposted a video of Roach’s interview on her Instagram Story with a laughing emoji. The internet took this as a playful confirmation from the alleged bride's mother.

Yet, despite the accumulation of clues, neither Zendaya nor Tom Holland has confirmed or denied any reports of a wedding. With both focused on projects like Dune: Part Three and Spider-Man: A Brand New Day, their silence has given the internet free rein to speculate and stage its own wedding.
