He was further asked if Swift and Kelce were going to be married at Madison Square Garden, and if street closures would be needed like the Knicks’ playoff games.

“If you happen to be getting married at Madison Square Garden, you will be staying inside, and you will be staying cool,” he stated, shifting the discussion to the record-high temperatures in New York City. He did however, say that anyone getting married at MSG will be taking wise measures for the season.

Madison Square Garden, the reported wedding venue for Swift and Kelce, offers many advantages for the mega-famous couple. This includes the discreet entrances for guests and paparazzi-proof indoor. Another huge benefit will be shelter from a historic heat wave predicted for New York City in the coming days, as the mayor himself mentioned.

Speaking on the same, Mamdani further urged New Yorkers to remain indoors in air conditioning. He then asked the people to stay hydrated as temperatures are expected to reach 100 degrees Fahrenheit over the coming weekend, exactly when the alleged wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce is expected to happen.
